Beijing Benz exceeds 40,000! BAIC Group announces November sales

Recently, BAIC Group announced the sales of its brands in November, including a total of 6 brands including Beijing Hyundai, Fujian Benz, Beijing Benz, Beiqi Foton, BAIC Motor and Jihu Motors. Among them, Beijing Benz performed more brilliantly, with sales exceeding 44,000 units, but commercial vehicle brand Beiqi Foton ranked first with sales exceeding 63,000 units.

Specifically, Beiqi Foton sold more than 63,000 vehicles in November, a year-on-year increase of 125.3%. The brand's models are mainly commercial vehicles. Ranking second is Beijing Benz, which delivered over 44,000 vehicles in November. It is worth mentioning that the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class long-axis version will be officially launched on December 14, with a pre-sale price range of 450,000-540,000 yuan. Ranking third in sales is Beijing Hyundai, which delivered 21,598 vehicles in November, an increase of 15% month-on-month. Sales of the new Elantra exceeded 10,000 units this month.

BAIC Motor, BAIC Jihu and Fujian Benz ranked 4th/5th/6th respectively. BAIC Motor delivered 16,588 vehicles in November, a month-on-month increase of 52.06% and a year-on-year increase of 64.73%. Overseas sales increased by 63.79% month-on-month. Jihu Motors delivered 3,849 units in November, a month-on-month increase of 23.88%, and a year-on-year increase of 342.92%. In addition, Jihu's new model Alpha T5 has also started pre-sales. Fujian Benz delivered more than 2,600 vehicles in November.

Previously, media reported that BAIC Group and Huawei will also launch a new model in HI mode in 2024. It is reported that the car will be a new model based on the existing Alpha S advance version and will be equipped with Huawei's latest intelligent driving system and Intelligent cockpit system. Insiders also said that Jihu’s existing HI version models will be equipped with Huawei’s latest ADAS 2.0 intelligent driving system by the end of the year.

BAIC is the first car company to cooperate with Huawei to adopt the HI model. The two parties are collaborating on the smart car selection model. The first new car in the smart car selection model will be launched in 2024. According to insiders, BAIC is the first company in the industry to adopt Huawei's HI model and smart car selection model at the same time, and there will be no conflict between the two internal models.
