Mercedes-Benz All-New Electric VLE
Overview
The all-new Mercedes-Benz Electric VLE is the brand's first high-end electric MPV, built on a new MPV electric platform. Positioned as a luxury electric business vehicle, it will be produced locally by Fujian Benz. A larger VLS model, based on the same platform, will also be introduced to complete the brand's electric MPV lineup.
Exterior Design
Features Mercedes-Benz's latest design language with a polygonal closed grille and glowing function. It offers a dual front design with both the shield logo and classic standing star. Exterior components are customizable.
Low drag coefficient of 0.25 enhances energy efficiency.
Practical design for tight parking spaces, with a rear window that opens separately for easy access to small items.
Interior & Cabin
Equipped with a three-screen setup: 10.25-inch instrument display, 14-inch central control, and 14-inch front passenger screen, supporting OTA updates.
Flexible seating options with 5-8 seats and electrically adjustable rows. The second row features independent seats, with high-end versions offering airline-grade seats with leg rests, heating, ventilation, and massage. The “Roll & Go” function allows flexible seat removal for varying passenger or cargo needs.
Luxurious features include a 31.3-inch 8K panoramic display, Berlin sound system, fridge, and fragrance system, creating an immersive experience.
Powertrain & Performance
Available in VLE 300 rear-wheel drive and VLE 400 all-wheel drive versions. The 4MATIC version offers 305 kW of power and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds.
Equipped with a 115 kWh battery, offering over 700 km range (WLTP). It supports 300 kW DC fast charging, providing 355 km of range in just 15 minutes.
Features an efficient energy system with a disconnect function for the rear motor when unnecessary, improving energy conversion efficiency.
Chassis & Handling
AIRMATIC air suspension system, allowing 40 mm height adjustment for better comfort and stability.
7-degree rear-wheel steering reduces the turning diameter to 10.9 meters, enhancing maneuverability in urban spaces.
Intelligent Driving
The vehicle includes 10 cameras, 5 radar sensors, and 12 ultrasonic sensors for enhanced perception.
The localized version will feature a smart assisted driving system, developed with Momenta, offering intelligent parking navigation and assistive parking in all driving scenarios.
23.1-inch AR-HUD head-up display reduces the need for manual glance operations, improving driving safety.
