As the new hybrid model of the fifth-generation Emgrand family, Geely Emgrand i-HEV 2027 deeply integrates oriental natural elements with modern automotive technology. From the exterior design to the interior cabin, the vehicle reflects the brand’s innovative interpretation of traditional Chinese culture, with significant improvements in overall recognition and premium quality.
 

The front face adopts the “Light Wave Ripple” design language, inspired by the tidal scenery of the Qiantang River. The grille, composed of 18 chrome vertical slats, resembles sparkling waves rippling across the water surface and seamlessly connects with the “Light Sword”-shaped LED daytime running lights on both sides, creating a highly memorable front-end visual identity. The headlight system uses full LED lighting technology and supports automatic on/off and height adjustment functions, delivering excellent illumination distance during nighttime driving. The “light-guided” air ducts on both sides of the front bumper not only optimize the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance but also add a sharp and sporty character to the front end. This approach of integrating natural imagery into industrial design represents Geely’s modern innovative interpretation of traditional Chinese culture.
 

The side profile follows the “two wide and two low” proportion philosophy: the 1,885mm body width ranks among the best in its class, combined with an ultra-large width-to-height ratio of 1.27 and an ultra-low center of gravity at 544mm, giving the vehicle an elegant, stretched, low-slung coupe-like stance. Designers used the golden ratio principle to determine the position of the waistline, placing it at the 0.618 point of the body height. Together with the 2,755mm long wheelbase, it achieves a balance between visual elegance and interior space potential. The “scenic-view window” design on the C-pillar continues the classic heritage of the Emgrand family. The new “Star Shine” wheels feature a dual-color diamond-cut finish, enhancing visual sophistication while also improving aerodynamic performance.
 

The rear design takes inspiration from the “skyline” concept and is equipped with “Layered Mountain Shadow” LED taillights. The two light strips resemble overlapping distant mountain silhouettes, carrying the beautiful meaning of “a stable family foundation backed by green mountains.” The taillights use ultra-red LED technology with a wavelength of 627–632nm, significantly improving light penetration. Even in rainy or foggy weather conditions, they can maintain clear warning visibility. The upper part of the tailgate adopts a “ducktail” spoiler design, combined with a hidden exhaust layout, adding a youthful dynamic character while retaining the solid and refined quality expected from a family vehicle. Through the natural transition between light and shadow, the entire rear design creates a rich, three-dimensional visual effect with layered depth.
 

Entering the cabin, all touchable areas are covered with soft-touch materials, creating an atmosphere filled with refined oriental aesthetic appeal. The center console features a “Golden Skyline” trim strip extending across the dashboard, paired with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel that provides a delicate grip and precise steering calibration. The vehicle is equipped with a floating central display, with screen sizes ranging from 8.8 inches to 12.3 inches depending on the configuration. The infotainment system is powered by Geely Galaxy OS and supports AI voice interaction, three-finger screen projection, and remote smartphone control. The smoothness of operation is comparable to premium vehicles. Higher-spec versions are also equipped with the “God’s Eye” 540° transparent chassis function, which can identify and avoid road obstacles in real time, effectively reducing safety risks caused by driving blind spots.
 

In terms of interior space, the 2,650mm wheelbase combined with a well-designed cabin layout provides excellent practicality. A passenger measuring 175cm in height can enjoy more than two fists of knee room when seated in the rear. The flat floor design also allows the middle passenger to move their legs more freely. The entire vehicle provides multiple practical storage spaces. The open storage area beneath the center console can easily hold personal items such as smartphones and wallets. The standard trunk capacity is fully capable of meeting daily shopping needs and short-distance travel luggage requirements.
