August 28, the GWM ORA 5 Sport was officially launched, with a total of seven models introduced. The GWM ORA 5 is positioned as a compact SUV, while the GWM ORA 5 Sport focuses on urban fashion, integrating sporty aesthetics into everyday travel. The new car is available in three versions: pure electric, hybrid, and gasoline.

In terms of exterior design, the GWM ORA 5 Sport continues the design concept of the ORA 5. The vehicle is equipped with a sporty front splitter, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler assembly, which optimize airflow and reduce the impact of turbulence. Two styling packages are available: the Flame Red package includes red brake calipers and red decorative rings around the headlights; the Lightning Yellow package includes yellow brake calipers and yellow decorative rings around the headlights.

The new car is equipped with 18-inch Wind Blade wheels, available in natural and gloss-black finishes. Made of high-strength aluminum alloy, they balance lightweight construction with structural strength. The exterior is available in six color combinations: Storm Black + Lightning Yellow, Glacier Gray + Lightning Yellow, White Cliff White + Storm Black, Dunhuang Green + White Cliff White, Storm Black, and Shazhou Beige.

In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4,482 mm in length, 1,833 mm in width, and 1,559 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.

In terms of interior design, two two-tone options are available: Starry Night Gray + Lightning Yellow and Dawn White + Lightning Yellow. The cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating display. The cockpit chip uses a 4nm process and delivers 20 TOPS of computing power. It supports HUAWEI HiCar, ICCOA Carlink, and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity. Four desktop styles are available: wallpaper, 3D, map, and navigation. Amap navigation is pre-installed.

The pure electric version features an exclusive Coffee Space, which includes six scenario modes: Immersion, Rest, Camping, Pet, Karaoke, and Temporary Leave. The infotainment system comes with applications including QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, iQIYI, and Ximalaya. It is equipped with the Coffee GPT voice large language model, supporting “what you see is what you can say,” wake-up-free interaction, multiple commands in one sentence, and dialect recognition. It also supports creative image generation, which can be set as the infotainment system wallpaper. The mobile app supports remote vehicle control.
