On January 12th, we learned from Audi officials that its medium and large SUV, the Audi SQ7 Dark Knight Edition, was officially launched, and a total of 1 configuration model was launched for the new car, with a price of 1.1698 million yuan.According to official information, the car is limited to 300 units. As a special edition model, the new car is equipped with unique exterior decorations, which highlights the special identity of Audi S series models. In addition, it is equipped with a V8 TFSI engine + quattro full-time four-wheel drive system with torque self-locking central differential.
In terms of appearance, the Audi SQ7 Dark Knight Edition and the regular edition models are mainly distinguished in appearance. This new version adds more personalized elements, including exclusive carbon fiber components, red brake calipers with the S logo, the unique S logo at the rear of the car, a total of four exhaust outlets on both sides, the iconic rear diffuser and spoiler of the S family, and the optional Audi extended black light package, which effectively enhances the sporty atmosphere and high-end sense of the vehicle.
From the side of the body, the Audi SQ7 Dark Knight edition adopts a large-size five-spoke rim shape and is equipped with red brake calipers. With the raised eyebrow lines at the front and rear, it has a full sense of muscle. In terms of the tail, the car adopts a bilateral exhaust layout with a total of four outlets, and it is equipped with a large-size tail diffuser. At first glance, it is a ruthless character who is not easy to mess with.
In the interior part, this car has carbon fiber interior strips, perforated leather steering wheel, stainless steel pedals, and carbon fiber stop handles. The same RS sports seat is standard, made of Wagoner leather with S embossing and diamond-shaped stitching, which takes into account lateral support and comfort. It is also equipped with a B&O hall-level 3D sound system with 23 speakers. The acoustic prism will slowly rise when activated, and the sense of ceremony is very in place. In addition, the car also comes standard with ACC cruise system, intelligent parking, lane keeping, lateral assistance and other intelligent driving assistance functions.
The power part is equipped with a 4.0TFSI V8 twin-turbocharged engine codenamed EA825 jointly developed with Porsche, with a maximum power of up to 373kW and a maximum torque of up to 770N·M. This engine will also be used on the mid-term facelift Cayenne S.The traditional system is equipped with a tiptronic 8-speed manual-in-one gearbox and a quattro full-time four-wheel drive system. It takes only 4.1 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h, and the maximum speed is 250km/h.This engine also applies closed-cylinder technology, which can support “intelligent cylinder change” during “high-end position and low load”, and actively suspend the fuel injection of half of the cylinders to enable the vehicle to enter a four-cylinder economic mode.
Audi already has the ultimate performance beast like RS Q8 in the field of high-performance SUVs to compete with the 63 series models of BMW X6 M and Mercedes-Benz GLE AMG.The S series IS POSITIONED SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN the RS, AND ITS COMPETITORS ARE mainly HIGH-PERFORMANCE SUV MODELS SUCH AS AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+.The biggest highlight of this car is that it is equipped with a 507-horsepower 4.0T V8 engine, which can be said to be very rare in this era of general small displacement and electrification. It can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.1 seconds. Although it may not be comparable to many high-performance electric vehicles on the market, it is enough to make people's blood stretch, and the thick sound of the large-displacement V8 engine and the driving pleasure brought by shifting gears are also unmatched by electric vehicles.
