BYD Hiace 07EV debuts with dynamic styling and rich configurations

Recently, BYD Hiace 07EV model was officially released. The new car adopts a marine aesthetic design and is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV. It will face the 200,000 yuan market in the future. Hiace 07EV is the first model of BYD Ocean Network's new Hiace IP. In the future, Ocean Network will integrate SUV models into Hiace IP and sedan models into Seal IP, forming a twin star strategy.
In terms of appearance, BYD Hiace 07EV is based on the previous Ocean X concept car, further strengthening the family style of the Ocean series models. The whole vehicle has a fashionable shape. On the upper part of the X shape of the front face, bold line cutting makes the entire front face more three-dimensional. Hiace 07EV adopts a design called Haiyue double U floating headlights. The headlight body and its outer boomerang-shaped decoration together form the shape of the letter C. The daytime running lights that light up in sequence are full of ritual.
The side of the body also adopts a double waistline design. The dynamic lines outline the elegant fastback profile of the Hiace 07EV. The smooth roof line naturally sweeps back and sinks, and integrates with the rear wing. The D-pillar, roof and rear wing At the intersection, line cutting forms an X shape, echoing the overall style. The D-pillar triangular window area is also decorated with metallic color.
The tail of Hiace 07EV is full in shape, and the dynamic taillights running through the sea and sky are a highlight of the tail. The point light sources distributed in a parameterized manner progressively progress from large to small, showing a certain sense of technology. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4830/1925/1620mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2930mm. Hiace 07EV will have two rim styles, namely 19-inch double fork style and 20-inch blackened five-spoke style.
In terms of interior, Hiace 07EV continues the fluidity of the exterior design and uses a variety of materials to interpret various marine elements. The soft interior area accounts for more than 80% of the entire vehicle interior area. The curves extending from the upper part of the instrument panel to both sides outline the enveloping shape of "suspended wings".
The new car adopts a flat-bottomed four-spoke sports steering wheel. The exquisitely crafted crystal gear lever incorporates aluminum processing technology and has a mechanical texture. The surrounding buttons integrate common functions including start, emergency warning lights, automatic parking, air conditioning, etc. It is worth mentioning that the front window is also designed with a retro-looking triangular window, and the seats are decorated with corrugated quilting and double stitching.
In terms of configuration, Hiace 07EV’s ambient lighting provides 128 colors. The waterfall-style ambient lighting on the door panels and the suspended lighting inside the glass panel of the dashboard can match the rhythm of music. The new car is also equipped with a 12-speaker Dynaudio audio, three-flavor fragrance system, 220V on-board power supply, karaoke, panoramic canopy (glass area of 2.1 square meters), water spray wipers, NFC key, AR-HUD ( Projection area up to 50 inches) and other configurations. In addition, the entire car series comes standard with 11 airbags, direct tire pressure monitoring system, driver monitoring assistance and other configurations.
In terms of intelligent configuration, the car is equipped with DiLink 100, a high-end version of the intelligent cockpit and DiPilot 100, a high-end intelligent driving assistance system.

Among them, DiLink 100 brings multiple entry methods, ONE ID and AR HUD, full-scene intelligent voice with four-tone zone recognition, parallel windows and other functions. In terms of DiPilot 100, the new Hiace 07EV has up to 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimeter wave radars, and 11 cameras. It has full-scenario intelligent driving, seven intelligent reminder functions, lane keeping, emergency braking and other functions.
Hiace 07EV adopts CTB vehicle safety architecture and adopts front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension. In terms of power, referring to the previous application diagram, it is expected that the car will provide 3 power forms, of which the two-wheel drive model will provide 230kW and 170kW motors respectively, and the four-wheel drive model will have a maximum power of 160kW and 230kW at the front and rear motors respectively.
