BMW Brilliance allies with Baidu to explore AI automotive manufacturing integration

   BMW Brilliance recently held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation memorandum with Chinese tech giant Baidu, aiming to leverage their respective strengths and explore the integration of AI technology with the entire automotive manufacturing industry.

According to the agreement, the two companies will deepen their collaboration in areas such as AI platforms and quantum computing technology. 

In terms of AI platforms, BMW Brilliance chose to partner with Baidu to provide core technological support for BMW's "BEACON" AI platform, particularly in natural language processing and data analysis capabilities. In the field of quantum computing, the two companies will jointly explore the possibilities of quantum computing applications in production and manufacturing scenarios, enhancing application efficiency. In the future, this partnership may provide robust computing power for scenarios such as finance, insurance, and exchange rate calculations.

BMW and Baidu have already collaborated in multiple areas, establishing a strong partnership and successfully advancing several solutions. For instance, Baidu's NLP capabilities have provided technical support to various BMW business domains. The Data Analysis as a Service Platform (DASSP), a joint project, is highly anticipated and is expected to offer deeper capabilities in data-driven business exploration.

The convergence of BMW Brilliance and Baidu through artificial intelligence is expected to set a new benchmark in the industry. Baidu's technological advantages and practical experience in the digital transformation of automotive enterprises will serve as the foundation for BMW Brilliance and Baidu's deep strategic cooperation.
