On April 16, Huawei launched its ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system at the 2023 Huawei Intelligent Vehicle Solutions conference. Huawei's advanced intelligent driving system can play around with complex urban road conditions with the flexible decision-making and decisive handling ability of a "veteran driver". Even the official said that Huawei will open the high level of assisted driving that can run urban areas without high precision maps.
Huawei's Advanced Intelligent Driving System Huawei ADS 2.0 will debut in the AITO Askworld M5 Huawei Advanced Intelligent Driving Edition, followed by the Avita 11 and the Extreme Fox Alpha S HI Edition, and 10 more models will be equipped in the future.
It is worth noting that Huawei ADS contains a basic package, an advanced package and a high level package. Currently, the commercial vehicle models that have been partnered are all equipped with the basic package and advanced package as standard with the vehicle, and the high level package can be purchased as an option. In terms of specific pricing, Huawei ADS 2.0 is a one-time purchase of RMB 36,000, a subscription package of RMB 7,200 per year, and a subscription package of RMB 720 per month.
By way of planning, Huawei ADS 2.0 will be first commercially available in five cities with maps in the second quarter of this year, followed by 15 cities without maps in the third quarter, and ramped up to 45 cities in the fourth quarter.
In addition, according to Yu, there will be 10 new vehicles equipped with ADS 2.0 in the future, which means that the number of Huawei's subsequent cooperation models will be further increased.
