The 1.5T turbocharged engine produces a maximum output of 188 hp and 300 N·m of torque, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. This setup delivers smooth, linear power, ideal for daily commuting while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency and low running costs. The 2.0T turbocharged engine offers more performance, producing 261 hp and 405 N·m of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission for quick and responsive acceleration, delivering a thrilling driving experience for enthusiasts.
 

In chassis tuning, the MG7 2026 stays true to its sporty nature with a front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link setup, providing stable handling. Higher trims feature mCDC intelligent adjustable electronic suspension and an E-LSD electronic limited-slip differential, which adjust damping in real time according to road conditions, achieving a perfect balance between sporty performance and daily driving comfort.
