The 2025 Li i6, built on a native all-electric architecture, offers a CLTC pure-electric range of up to 720 km. As a milestone in Li Auto’s ten-year development, it enters the market as a “new-form all-electric SUV.” Its core value is breaking the functional limits of conventional SUVs — leveraging a purpose-built electric platform to deliver upgrades in space, intelligence, and aesthetics. As the brand’s first “pure-electric + five-seat” strategic model, the Li i6 aims not only to expand the user base but also to embody a “mobile ideal space for young people,” fusing family-scene practicality with youthful design.
Exterior
The Li i6 features an integrated, low-drag front fascia. The family’s signature “star-ring” lighting has evolved into a sharper “shark-fin” motif; combined with a sunken hood, this creates a strong forward-leaning stance. The headlamps and through-type LED daytime running lights form an “X” light signature with very high night recognition. Millimeter-wave radar and LiDAR modules are embedded in the closed grille, clearly indicating its L2+ driver-assistance hardware. Notably, the flow ducts on the front bumper are functional — measured tests show they can reduce drag by 8%; together with an active intake grille, they further optimize the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance.
Side profile
The side continues the “bullet” design language: the roofline drops markedly from the B-pillar and, with a forward-leaning D-pillar, forms an MPV-like streamlined silhouette. Flush door handles and 20/21-inch low-drag wheels further refine aerodynamics; the two-tone body (contrasting roof and body) enhances the fashionable look. By using short overhangs (front 900 mm, rear 1050 mm), Li Auto i6 raises its wheelbase-to-length ratio to 61%, balancing a sporty posture with extremely efficient space utilization under a 3000 mm wheelbase. Overall dimensions are 4950 / 1935 / 1655 (1670) mm, with a two-row five-seat interior.
Rear design
The liftback tailgate is the standout feature at the rear: with a body height of 1655 mm and a trunk opening depth of 1.1 m, it combines styling with loading practicality. The full-width “Light Blade” taillight embeds the Lixiang wordmark and visually echoes the front’s “X” lighting signature at night. The lower bumper’s diffuser is functional — it improves high-speed stability — and a factory-provisioned tow hook interface (rated up to 1.5 t) expands outdoor usage scenarios.
Interior
Inside, the Lixiang i6 uses a dual-screen layout (15.7-inch center screen + passenger entertainment screen) plus a 16.3-inch HUD, forming a “three-screen interactive” system. The dashboard is layered: soft-touch material on top, metal-look trim below, contrasted with Nappa leather on the door panels for a premium feel. Seats use a seven-layer material construction across the range; the front seats support 10-point massage, heating and ventilation, while the rear seats also offer heating/ventilation. The right-side “Queen Seat” can recline to 135° and, with the leg rest, provides a semi-reclined, near-first-class experience.
