On July 9, we learned from official sources that the Chery Fulwin A9 has officially entered the pre-sale stage, with a total of three variants available. The model will be offered with both extended-range and all-electric powertrains. However, the current pre-sale is only for the all-electric version, which is equipped with a single electric motor and a 70.11 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, delivering a CLTC pure electric driving range of 655 km.

In terms of exterior design, the Chery Fulwin A9 continues the brand's latest family design language, featuring a clean, sharp, and youthful appearance. The front fascia adopts the enclosed design typical of new energy vehicles and is equipped with split-type headlights featuring matrix lighting units. In addition, the vehicle is fitted with a LiDAR sensor on the roof, while the front bumper incorporates an active air intake grille.

Viewed from the side, the vehicle features semi-hidden door handles that support both touch-operated and mechanical opening methods. The new model is also equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke low-drag wheels. At the rear, it features a dual-layer full-width LED light bar, while higher-spec variants are equipped with a two-stage active electric rear spoiler. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,836 mm (4,890 mm) in length, 1,896 mm (1,913 mm) in width, and 1,489 mm (1,491 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large sedan.

In terms of performance, the current pre-sale model is the all-electric version, powered by a single electric motor producing a maximum output of 178 kW and peak torque of 275 N·m. The vehicle is equipped with a 70.11 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a CLTC pure electric driving range of 655 km. In addition, the extended-range version was previously filed with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is powered by an extended-range powertrain consisting of a 1.5L gasoline engine and an electric motor. The engine delivers a maximum output of 82 kW, while the WLTC pure electric driving range is available in two versions: 116 km and 175 km.
