Xiaomi YU7: Over 289,000 pre-orders in just 1 hour !!!

“This is not an ordinary SUV,” declared Xiaomi Group’s Chairman Lei Jun solemnly at the product launch event on June 27. “YU7 is a heartfelt and hardcore love letter from our engineering team to those who refuse mediocrity and dream beyond the horizon.”

During the multi-hour launch, Xiaomi presented a series of breakthroughs in smart mobility and AI ecosystems—from AI glasses that support first-person live streaming to track-dominating electric supercars. Yet the most anticipated highlight was undoubtedly the debut of Xiaomi’s first SUV — the Xiaomi YU7, stealing the spotlight as the true star of the event.

Positioned as a luxury high-performance SUV, the Xiaomi YU7 comes in three variants: YU7 Standard, YU7 Pro, and YU7 Max, with prices ranging from RMB 253,500 to RMB 329,900.
 

All versions are equipped with the Xiaomi Super Motor V6s Plus, delivering up to 22,000 rpm, 288 kW max output, and 528 N·m torque. The YU7 Max boasts 690 PS horsepower, a top speed of 253 km/h, and 0–100 km/h acceleration in 3.23 seconds (or just 2.98 seconds excluding initial delay). Lei Jun claimed it is “the fastest SUV under RMB 800,000 in terms of 0–100 acceleration.”
 

In terms of range, the YU7 Standard offers 835 km CLTC—the longest for mid-to-large electric SUVs—while the four-wheel drive version delivers 770 km CLTC, topping the segment as well. Thanks to the 800V SiC platform, it supports 5.2C fast charging, reaching 10%-80% in just 12 minutes, or up to 620 km in 15 minutes.
 

The chassis features front double wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, paired with closed dual-chamber air springs and adaptive damping shocks. Xiaomi’s intelligent chassis system with road preview and active suspension adjustment comes standard across all models.
 

Inside the cabin, the Xiaomi YU7 interior is crafted with premium soft-touch leather, fine stitching, and carbon fiber & metal accents for a high-tech, sporty ambiance. Instead of a traditional dashboard, a P-HUD panoramic projection screen stretches from A-pillar to A-pillar, displaying vital info like speed, gear, and navigation directly onto the windshield.
 

A 15.6-inch 3K floating infotainment screen takes center stage, powered by the Xiaomi Surge OS, offering smooth operation and rich functionality. The display supports triple-split views, allowing simultaneous access to navigation, media, and other apps.
