New Haval H5 to be launched in August with 2.0T power

      It is reported that the new Haval H5 (code name P04) will be officially launched in August.


       Externally, the new model goes for a hardcore style with a very heavy centre grille trim, matching headlight clusters and a very off-road style front surround. The rear of the car has a more slab-sided tail lamp and is also available with a bilateral dual exhaust. In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 5190/1905/1835mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3140mm, an upgrade in all dimensions.

     Inside, the new car will offer a large floating centre screen and LCD instruments with a three-spoke steering wheel. The gear knob on offer is the same as the Tank 300 and the car offers a five-seat seating layout.

     The new model will be powered by 2.0T petrol engines with 145kW and 165kW respectively, in addition to the 2.0T diesel engine with 122kW. The transmission is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
