AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand powered by a partnership between SERES and Huawei, today unveiled its latest offering, the refreshed AITO M7 SUV.
As a luxurious midsize SUV with intelligent driving capabilities, the AITO M7 series comes with both five-seat and six-seat options, totaling five variants. The model features a price range of 249,800 yuan to 329,800 yuan.
During the launch event, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit, said that an investment of 500 million yuan was poured into developing the AITO M7 series, underlining the commitment to its success.
The AITO M7 comes equipped with the advanced HUAWEI ADS 2.0 intelligent driving system, setting a new standard by achieving high-level intelligent driving without relying on high-definition maps for both highway and urban scenarios. By December this year, the urban NCA feature will offer a seamless intelligent driving experience nationwide.
For families on the move, the AITO M7 prioritizes interior space, offering class-leading roominess in its five-seat configuration, with a length of 3,338mm. The trunk depth reaches 1,100mm, offering a voluminous 686 liters of standard cargo space. The overall cabin space across the front, middle, and rear rows spans 2,605mm, providing ample room for both six- and five-seater variants.
Enhancing the driving experience, the AITO M7 features the HUAWEI DATSTM 2.0 (Dynamic Adaptive Torque System) and front and rear double FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) variable damping shock absorbers, ensuring a smoother and more stable ride. The AITO M7 also houses the HUAWEI DriveONE extended-range electric drive platform, offering class-leading 0-100km/h acceleration of 4.8 seconds for the four-wheel-drive variant. In combined gasoline and electric driving mode (CLTC-rated), it achieves an impressive 1,300 kilometers of comprehensive range, and a 240 kilometers battery-powered range.
