The upgraded battery system is another major highlight. The new Buick Electra E5 EV model is equipped with two LFP battery options: 63.9 kWh and 76.8 kWh, offering 515 km and 620 km of range respectively (as per MIIT standards), catering to both daily commuting and long-distance travel needs. Furthermore, the Ultium 2.0 battery has passed the latest China National Standard certification, going through enhanced testing beyond the standards—including crash tests, thermal diffusion, sealing performance, as well as drop tests, coolant leakage simulations, and rollover tests—ensuring comprehensive battery safety.
