Recently, Kia officially unveiled the first official images of the all-new generation Telluride. Positioned as a mid-to-large SUV, the new model shares its platform with the latest Hyundai Palisade and will be offered with both gasoline and hybrid powertrains. According to Kia, the SUV will make its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month and is expected to officially launch in Q1 2026.
The new Telluride adopts a boxy, rugged design language, giving it a strong and commanding presence. The front end comes in two distinct styling options, each featuring different grille and bumper treatments. The hybrid version uses a more closed-off grille with vertical accents and a slim air intake in the center, while the gasoline variant gets a chunkier mesh-style grille, a bold skid plate, and dual tow hooks, emphasizing its off-road character. The vertical headlight setup enhances recognition and gives the SUV a tech-forward appearance.
From the side, the Telluride maintains straight roof and window lines, with a hidden A-pillar design and a wide D-pillar featuring a continuous upper section. Pronounced shoulder lines over the fenders and muscular wheel arches reinforce its tough stance. The SUV also comes with black lower cladding and black-finished wheels for a more adventurous look.
At the rear, the design evokes a Range Rover-like silhouette, with vertical taillights that mirror the headlights, a black-painted bumper, and dual tow hooks for added utility.
Inside, the Telluride features a clean and layered dashboard with a floating dual-screen setup and a four-spoke steering wheel that integrates multifunction controls. Gear selection is handled via a column-mounted shifter located below the wiper stalk, while the center console uses a dual-arch bridge design, creating a distinctive and futuristic look.
The SUV adopts a 2+2+3 seating configuration, with power-adjustable second-row captain’s chairs featuring folding armrests for added comfort and flexibility.
Under the hood, the all-new Telluride is expected to offer two powertrain options — a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine and a 2.5-liter turbocharged hybrid setup, balancing performance with efficiency for a variety of driving needs.
